TITLE: SENIOR PROJECT ENGINEER

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • THE MAJOR RESPONSIBILITY OF THE SENIOR PROJECT ENGINEER IS TO MANAGE

DEVELOPMENT AND OTHER PROJECTS, USUALLY FOR CUSTOMERS IN THE

DEVELOPMENT OF NEW INJECTION MOLDING BASED COMPONENTS AND/OR

ASSEMBLIES. THESE COULD ALSO BE PROJECTS THAT ARE MODIFICATIONS TO

EXISTING COMPONENTS AND/OR ASSEMBLIES
  • A SECONDARY, BUT CRITICAL RESPONSIBILITY WITHIN THE MANAGEMENT OF SUCH

PROJECTS IS THE COORDINATION OF THE MOLD DESIGN, MOLDMAKING, MOLDING,

SECONDARY OPERATIONS, AND QA/QC DEPARTMENTS IN COMPLETING THE

PROJECTS ON A TIMELY BASIS AND PROVIDING SATISFACTORY SAMPLES TO THE

CUSTOMER AS REQUIRED OF THE SENIOR PROJECT ENGINEER. THE SENIOR PROJECT ENGINEER MUST ALSO BE ABLE TO COORDINATE THE

ACTIVITIES OF ANY SUBCONTRACTORS INVOLVED IN COMPLETING THE PROJECT, INCLUDING MOLDMAKERS, RESIN AND OTHER SUPPLIES, AND SUBCONTRACTORS, SUCH AS PLATERS, PAD PRINTERS, ETC.
  • THE SENIOR PROJECT ENGINEER MUST ALSO DEVELOP AND MAINTAIN THE BILLS OF

MATERIAL AND MANUFACTURING ROUTINGS FOR EACH COMPONENT/ASSEMBLY WITHIN THEIR RESPONSIBILITY

KNOWLEDGE BASE/EXPERIENCE
  • THE CANDIDATE MUST HAVE AT LEAST 3-5 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE, PARTICIPATING IN

AND/OR MANAGING INJECTION MOLDING BASED PROJECTS, PREFERABLY IN THE

OEM SEGMENTS OF INDUSTRIAL, MEDICAL, AEROSPACE, AUTOMOTIVE
  • THE CANDIDATE MUST BE KNOWLEDGABLE IN THE AREAS/SUBJECTS OF INJECTION MOLDING PROCESSES AND CHARACTERISTICS, RAW MATERIAL/RESIN SELECTION,

INJECTION MOLD DESIGN/CHARACTERISTICS, AND VALUE ADDED (SECONDARY

OPERATIONS), BOTH MANUAL AND CNC
  • THE CANDIDATE MUST HAVE THE PERSONALITY TO LEAD THE COMPANY TEAM AND

SUBCONTRACTORS THROUGH THE PROJECT AND HAVE A " SALES" PERSONALITY

AND ORIENTATION, LOOKING FOR THE NEXT PROJECT

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
  • THE STARTING BASE COMPENSATION WILL BE IN THE RANGE OF $80K (MlNlMUM) AND UP TO " 00K, DEPENDING ON CAPABILITIES AND EXPERIENCE
  • THE COMPANY DOES PROVIDE INCENTIVE COMPENSATION FOR KEY EMPLOYEES BASED ON INDIVIDUAL AND COMPANY PERFORMANCE. A REASONABLE ESTIMATE WOULD BE 1 WEEK OF PAY FOR THE POSITION DURING YEAR 1.
