Job Function: Follow job plan to build new molds according to mold designs, repair molds, document and prepare molds for initial sampling or shipment to customer. Meet or exceed customer requirements in quality, delivery and cost.
Receives direction from the Tooling Manager or General Manager. Must be self disciplined to work with little supervision.
Education/Training: High School diploma or equivalent supplemented with basic courses in machine shop operations and the use of machining equipment.
Work experience: One year working in a machine shop environment using Lathes, Mills, and Surface Grinders.
Read, write and speak English language.
Must demonstrate leadership qualities and abilities.
Must have adequate transportation and possess a valid drivers license.
Must be willing to pursue further training and education.
Must possess a telephone and/or provide communication access.
Demonstrate attendance exceeding basic company guidelines.

Must possess knowledge of materials, methods, tools, and practices used in injection molds.
Must have the ability to follow written and oral instructions.

Must possess the ability to input data on computer and type basic operations notes for communication daily.
Must posses the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with associates.
Must possess the ability to interpret and work from sketches and diagrams.
Must possess knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions of the trade.
Possess the ability to operate machine shop equipment.
